- @psenough No need to be sorry and thanks for the feedback :D It was a compo filler done in the middle of the night before the deadline after we have fixed our toolchain, because there were problems with our actual entry. So it IS indeed VERY basic. But at least something! :)

pretty neat! I'm very curious about how the toolchain works.
Thanks!
There are three tools at work, I just write a few words to each of them, since I'm not sure to which you are referring exactly. There is a little build system to bring all the tools together, but that is essentially a better/cleaner Makefile/Script, though convenient.
Second, we tried synthesizing Clinkster compatible Renoise songs with a shader (still buggy at the moment, but hopefully compressor friendly).
And third, we thought it would be nice to have a tool as nice as Crinkler, which is a drop-in replacement for ld with all the benefits of having full control of the linking step and compression. We are not yet there, since decompressor and runtime loader are far from the size they should and could be (no x86 experts (yet)), but the cornerstone has been set.
If we feel like our tools are becoming more competitive, we will certainly release them. - isokadded on the 2021-10-12 20:21:09
