- demo Atari ST Ultimate GFA Demo by Overlanders [web]
- I was very amazed when watching that GFA demo. I don't code any stuff at that period, but I start to write to Dogue de Mauve wich is a very nice person. UGD was a source of technical inspiration and it's the beginning of all my ASM stuff on ATARI.
Great demo, great guys !

- yep you're right robotriot ! the raster are behind the text, and features a paralax (raster y speed is not the same as text y speed). so result is a tricky nice 3d paralax effect ! :-)

- demo Atari STe STNICCC2000 Demo by Oxygene [web]
- Hi all
Nice to see an ATARI prod here. For PC user, here is some help to see the demo. Use a good ATARI emulator ( http://saint.atari.org ). Run SainT.exe, select the MSA demo file and click on "Insert" button, then click run. (Don't forget to swith the STE mode in the option page).
Have fun ! - rulezadded on the 2002-02-18 10:47:10

- Great, there is at least one people who like technical stuff ! :-) just more informations: yes, the poly are precalculated (and 2d clipped), but the stream is not packed. (not enough time to depack and draw all these polys). The disk drive is running only because there is no more RAM !! The fast generated polygone rout take about 512Kb, the player and music about 300Kb. So the 3d stream is loaded into a 64Kb circular buffer.
oldskool rules ! :-)
