- lancer: if the user turned VSync off in the drivers settings, there is not much you can do with OpenGL (I read some time ago that OpenGL 2.0 would be able to override those settings but I don't know if it's actually the case).
Anyway, motion on screen should be time-dependant, not frame-dependant. This is the problem with PC's, modern API's and hardware, it can produce high-end real time 3D graphics but it sucks at displaying oldskool 2D scrollers smootly :) - isokadded on the 2006-11-23 19:57:12
