- 8k Windows Frozen by Loonies [web]
- It was a while when a demo/intro left me speechless. This is procedural geek's dream come true!

- Very cool. The swing was absolutely fresh idea for 4k. I wonder if it was keyframed or fully simulated. Either way, top production quality!

- 4k intro Windows anodyne by erpholia
- I definitely dig it.
There were more impressive technically intros in the compo, but style-wise this was my favorite. - rulezadded on the 2026-04-05 11:29:19

- wild Animation/Video Suboceanic Reimagined by Tomasz Dobrowolski
- neoman: yes, it doesn't belong, that's why it's "wild". It's not about attention, but about the statement. Think of it as infamous banana strapped to a wall. If you take it at face value, it is just a worthless banana. There was was absolutely zero effort to make it (maybe a bit more to come up with an idea) and you can also say it's just a stupid attention-seeking provocation. I was coming from the same here - its effortless creation that is not even exceptional as an AI art (there are nicer examples out there). But the whole point is the act and temporal value of it - the fact it doesn't belong here is already an important question "why". The fact you can make something passable with low effort is also interesting. The fact it's philosophical inversion of my past work, which is essentially a liberation attempt from working class mentality I was raised in, has a special value to me personally. But I understand, if this doesn't trigger any conceptual response, maybe I indeed failed with this one.

- Honestly, I'm still baffled here, you guys don't understand really what I'm trying to say. I marked everything absolutely clear with subtitles in the intro, the competition was "Wild with AI". And then I hear some generic complaints about AI art. Come on! Do you take everything so trivially at face value?

- I really dig the soundscapes, especially industrial drums and synth textures.

- Nice "Studio Ghibli" style art. Is it AI-generated?

- One more thing, that you guys might have missed here.
This is a philosophical inversion of my original 64k intro work I did in 2006. The 64k constraint was about maximum effort with minimum resources. This is in stark contrast to this: a minimum effort with maximum resources possible.
It's really to provoke questions about the meaning of art, the meaning of effort, the meaning of outcome. And this is the value I perhaps wasn't even hoping for. - isokadded on the 2026-03-18 23:13:33
