- Amiga OCS/ECS Nikki Fox by Penisoft
- Can someone explain to me how these works are "AI crap"? They don't look as if they were generated by an AI algorithm, and the Atari ST slideshow is so highly rated, by comparison. Apart from the crappy MOD music, which I agree is nothing like Jan Hammer, explain to me why the Amiga conversion of "Rusty Van" (or whatever it is) gets so much hate?

- 128b ZX Spectrum Something In The Fog by Speccy.pl [web]
- Brings back memories.
I have an anecdote about my first experience programming a ZX Spectrum back in the 1980s. It belonged to our neighbours, and knowing ZX81 BASIC I thought I'd write a little program to plot random dots all over the screen in different ink and paper colours, and to my disappointment, the screenshot here, except the border, is more or less what I ended up with. I thought the Spectrum was more versatile in its graphics, because I had next to no experience of it so didn't know what its capabilities were, but in hindsight, I realise that no home computer of that time could have graphics without restraints of one form or another, and I've grown to admire the ingenuity of what can be achieved in ZX Spectrum games and the Demoscene, all because of the limitations of the 8x8 2-colour attribute system! - rulezadded on the 2024-02-11 13:02:06

- Nice use of sound effects instead of music for the demo effects, but did that Titanic homage have to be there?
