- Cool, finally managed to see this. Loved it, superb work guys :)
As a side note, there's a small bug I noticed while some scenes ran at a very low framerate: the sky seems to be updated with 1 frame delay. So when there's a camera transition the first frame after that is being rendered with the old sky.

- demo Windows MacOSX PPC the demoThing by Spöntz [web]
- Weird, I remember liking it way more at the party than at home.
Some parts are cool (like the one after the guitar scene) while the others are emtpy and lack coherency/good graphics.
Thumbs up for the effects and synching though. - rulezadded on the 2004-09-11 04:28:36
- 64k Windows Paradise by Rgba [web]
- Finally downloaded the video :)
This was amazing at the partyplace, probably the most special moment at ep12. Those rhinos were breathtaking!
Looking forward to see the final version though, since there's some "uh, deadline is near" feeling in some parts. This can be perfect with some more time put into it.
Great work guys, this is really something to be proud of! - rulezadded on the 2004-09-11 04:16:39
- demo Windows tpb-minus-01: case^ign by The PIMP Brigade & 100% CODERS
- Well-chosen track plus interesting visuals, could be nice to see it as a Winamp plugin, yes.
We demand another full featured TPB demo as next project though :) - rulezadded on the 2004-09-10 03:29:43

- This was a really big step forward back then in spanish 64k pc intro making. Nowadays it doesn't look as cool though.

About some comments:
-It doesn't require a high-end cpu nor a pixelshader capable card. I developed it on a 1.5ghz cpu + geforce4MX 440 and it probably will run ok on a slower config (plain geforce1 or equivalent, and probably also slower cpu). Some parts require a lot of fillrate though.
The main problem is the RAM, it needs lots of it and I should've checked that. So on < 512mb configs there's a lot of memswapping going on, which is even worse than having a slow cpu or gfxcard.
-It won't run at 16bpp because It needs 8bits destination alpha which is only available at 32bpp. The destination alpha is used on the DOF effect.
-If it crashes try upgrading your drivers and/or emailing me the log.txt you get when you run the demo with the -log commandline option. That worked for some people :)
We want to change some things so maybe there'll be a final version. - isokadded on the 2004-08-31 22:01:52
