- dane, our chessboard moves lightyears nicer, and we only dont switch d021 each line since the original has solid chessboards aswell. also gameover is much more inaccurate at the edges. doesnt pays off for the extra 8 lines if you ask me. The soul effect is on the borders, but has half the resolution, now which one wins? if I'd do an allborder 8x8 cube, bet you would say it has been done better before since there are higher resolution cubes.
now list some more parts, as you have stated these are just a few examples of what have been done better so far. - isokadded on the 2007-04-14 06:05:17

- Hollowman, a list of csdb links with the effects that were done better would help to see your statement in its full glory.

- thanks for all the nice comments we really havent expected so much feedback. :)
dane,
how about having code for displaying 4x1024 dots (some on the borders) in the memory, and while the effect plays loading beside it a koala picture with sprite overlay which extends to the borders. (dottunel and the "tiger" afterwards)
or how about drawing filledvectors into 3 different layers, playing digi, displaying a rasterbar while data is being loaded and decrunched, all at the same time? (melon scene with countdown)
maybe we have made it look too easy. - isokadded on the 2007-04-12 23:18:17

- one guy abused my personal page on csdb, and uploaded that photo.
then jailbird went:
"Especially that creepy photo! Man I couldn't fall asleep last night, it occupied my whole mind." - isokadded on the 2006-10-06 12:51:26

- winape emulator is kinda funny... the emulated machine comes up with press f1 for basic, I press f1, then the help window comes up for the emulator... could it be a bit more user friendly than that?
seconldy how to skip the first part ? I almost thumbed it down for having only one effect.

- I think only a few parts stands against dating here, namely the tunel on the screenshot, the first part after turning disk, and the dot sphere. The rest of it could have been done better or already was.
the worst thing is how ugly the design looks today :P :) - rulezadded on the 2006-09-25 15:55:30
