- lol.. ps =) maybe some scener who got the joke may shed some light in this... I can only say that it is tightly connected with the little graphic that appears while you hear that sample =)

- Well, compare that to their previous demo (A scener's brain) and you'll notice that this one is at least 500% improved over the previous. They started from scratch last year, so they surely deserve a thumb up for a great effort, a great improvement and some very interesting ideas.

- eye: HT causes no problem to it.. it's tested on a 2.8HT cpu (gffx5600) and it goes smooth also.. Hm.. it seems that some kind of configurations have trouble with fmod.. could anyone possibly point out what would that be?

- Skaven style.. lol =).. I'd take that as a compliment =) Anyhow.. I really don't believe that Skaven is the copyright holder for Lead Synths =)

- Hm.. I noticed that on the big screen at the partyplace too... and the compo machine was running on ATI as well.. No such white line glitches under nvidia cards.. Anyhow.. it's minor and It's not hindering the viewing experience me thinks..

- A significant improvement since your last demo.. I'm impressed! I loved the transition from the eggplants to the metaballs... nice atmosphere as well..
You need to polish your design and textures... but you earned a well deserved thumb up from me
Well Done. I'm expecting higher from you in your next demo. - rulezadded on the 2004-05-10 13:47:15
- demo Windows Negative by Sense Amok
- Freezes during the second display of the film strip and ends right after the water in the cup scene on my GFFx5600.. (no scorpion scene)..
The tunnel was quite impressive but I expected to see more stuff done with it. As for the music.. even though I like psychedelic trance.. I have a total hate towards Uplifting Trance, so I'm not the right person to judge it. (however, 5mb for an .xm is a tad hefty)
I'll vote when I see the final version. - isokadded on the 2004-05-10 01:44:15

- Tomaes: this was not coded at the party place. It was actually built 2 months or so before the party. One noon Navis came up with the idea of putting the one day limitation and see how it turns up. I scratched my synth for a while and had the music ready after about two hours (and that's why there's no variety in melody and parts). By around midnight the basic part of the demo was ready. After that, we spent about a week bugspotting (like the c++ timing bug) and writting the .nfo file =)
Oh, and it is a mutual agreement among ASD to only release final versions (unless there's some serious bug that slipped our sight) so I really doubt there will be another version with more content. Of course you can wait for our next demo.. pretty soon I'd say =)
loaderror: the refresh rates that eon uses are pure standard to be compatible with all monitors (and most importantly.. the projector at the party place). Make sure that you haven't explicitly set a refresh rate in your gfx card driver's control panel.
eye/midiclub: I've tested eon on my Athlon 900 with Geforce 3, and it runs smooth. Did you run programs that keep writting on the hard disk while watching the demo? Like distributed computing (Seti, UD), or file sharing progs (e-mule, kazaa and the like)..? Or it might be a driver problem?.. I can't see really any reason for stuttering.. Eon is very lightweight for today's standards... - isokadded on the 2004-05-10 01:37:36

- Experimental project, in order to see how much we can fit in a demo in just one day.
Yes.. we brought em.. =) - isokadded on the 2004-05-09 15:19:42
