• musicdisk Windows XM Party Twins by ALFSOFT [web]
• alfsoft: no thumb down because you seem genuinely guileless and honnestly I doubt that Maniacs of Noise give a damn about the use of their old tunes for your prod. I guess some might even find that gratifying (and somehow, it is)

However, it's a matter of principle, you just can't make a musicdisk with previously used tunes without asking the authors.

And even with permission, it would be pointless anyway. At best it would be a compilation of tunes from people you don't even personally know.
No challenge, nothing new, reuse of well known material, etc...
Do you get the point now? ;)

• demo Atari ST The Union Demo by The Union
• Raver: I guess it must look totally alien to anyone who did not take any interest in the Atari ST demoscene back then :)

This demo is probably the one that had the biggest knock-on effect ever on the Atari ST scene and that initiated a strong trend that lasted for years: megademos with mainmenus that looked like games.

As a result, too many demos tried to look like an improved Union demo afterwards, often to the detriment of new concepts.

On the other hand, that also resulted in very good things technically speaking.

• demo Windows Fair play to the queen by Candela
• Nice and refreshing, congrats, I really liked it
  (very Tronish and Rezish though)

I would have given it a thumb up if it was not for the unjustified hardware requirements and vendor specific thing (nVidia). Should have run decently on any ps 2.0 capable card imo. A fix soon? :)

• demo Windows Bananalyzer by Fairlight [web]
• Maybe it's time some people started to give more importance to quality than to quantity.

This demo is even more boring than Fairlight's last month demo...

• demo Amiga OCS/ECS Extension by Pygmy Projects

• musicdisk Atari ST Turrican music-demo by Thomas Engel
• Another oldie found on some old disk :)

I was not sure whether this belonged here then I noticed that Amiga and C64 already had their Turrican demos on pouet.

This music-demo was made by Thomas Engel (one of the authors of the game) and features a scroller dealing with the history of Turrican.

Press '0' to '9' for the tunes.
Original themes by Chris Huelsbeck, ST conversions by Jochen Hippel (Mad Max)
