- I'm a little sad to see some of the criticism here, yet I'm going to add my pebble to it.
During the competition this prod made me laugh and I had a good time. That being said, I was quite surprised to see it rank first (although to be fair, there wasn't much competition this year).
I don't think this demo is bad in any way, but I don't see any depth in it. It seemed to have only one layer of reading, which is in stark contrast with the depth of the two previous episodes, and how thoughtful they felt.
I think the comment from Gargaj just above reflects a similar feeling.
That is fine though. Again, it was enjoyable, and it would be unfair to expect your very best each time. I'm just explaining why my vote is only a piggie. - isokadded on the 2019-04-23 17:58:53

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Eon by The Black Lotus [web]
- As someone with no experience with the platform, it's difficult for me to gauge the technical quality of the production. I can see it's well above many of the other creations, I can see it showcases effects that would usually mean AGA, and I can see the smoothness of the animation. This is already very impressive, alas, I am certainly missing a lot of the magic here.
Regardless, even for the technically illiterate, the quality of the art and direction already make this show unique. I still need some time to process and fully appreciate it, but this was obviously a major moment at the party, and my favourite prod there. - rulezadded on the 2019-04-23 09:19:39

- I'm only discovering now this very much underrated prod. How did it only rank 5th? Maybe the style didn't work too well on big screen?
It's something really interesting you made here; this is what scene poetry should be like. As others have commented, all aspects of the music are spot on, but the prod is marred by the very rough animation quality. - rulezadded on the 2019-02-22 17:53:27
- invitation Windows Destination by Top Right Bottom Left [web]
- I liked it and it was enjoyable, especially since by the time I watched it I had managed to forget that you had spoiled me the concept. I can understand some of the criticism, but I wouldn't be able to point where the demo lacks strength.
In any case, it works well as an invitation. - rulezadded on the 2019-02-18 18:32:42
- demo Windows Silo by Limp Ninja [web]
- The large hexagonal bokeh DoF feels completely out of place.
The prod didn't really work on me in general. In fact, the constant flashing caused me discomfort at some point. - isokadded on the 2019-02-17 12:44:07

- Also, during the Moebius strip part, I was expecting a reference to Escher, which didn't happen. :(
