- 4k Windows Hexer by LJ
- Great prod, although there's something in the finish/execution that doesn't work 100% for me. Perhaps it's the camera shake that's sort of weird, or the lack of noise, or just that you expect the birds to go behind the house and then they sort of alpha blend with it instead. Perhaps spending a few extra bytes and going into the 8K compo would have taken this from great to legendary? Anyway, obviously worthy winner.

- 4k Windows vestige by erpholia
- Actually quite interesting; especially the music kept me going throughout all of it. My machine struggled even watching the YouTube video, though! I see there's a capture mode in the source somewhere, perhaps the authors could also take on the challenge of making a video file that's hardware-decodable on people's computers and not mush.

- demo Amiga AGA Lupus Reditus by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web] & Mystic [web]
- I don't think I can share everyone's joy in this :-) As others have said, the wolf is basically on ice skates, breaking the immersion completely. And the rest seems to be a texture-mapped sphere scrolling around an otherwise static camera (well, the torches are at least animated, but, yes). Some nice pixel graphics, but as a whole this doesn't work for me.

- Oh wow, almost a story 256b. Now, that's something.

- demo Amiga AGA entropy chamber by Logicoma [web]
- A single scene, but what a scene. FINALLY something on 060 that isn't just the same old stretchy-nearest-neighbor-spheremap-a-background.

- demo Windows Chaos Chasm by En til byte
- A number of “formula” effects implemented in a premade engine on top of a premade engine (Unity). It's OK but where it really falls apart is in the sync; at some point, the screen transitions are just far away from the music, at least on my computer. The opening scene is probably the strongest; it feels the most 3D to me, too, which adds a bit of variety.

- demo Windows In Code We Trust by Arctic Robots [web]
- Perhaps my favorite of the compo; it appears to be in many ways a single-effect show (a 4K in demo size) but I think it's pretty tasteful and works well. Pity about the poor/uneven frame rate in the showing, though; it should be possible to get this to work well without a 4090.

- demo JavaScript Kine Ku (singalong edition)
- Nothing special about this either way; I guess it wants to make some sort of statement/joke about cute cows and the environment, but it doesn't really work for me.

- demo Windows This is Us by Exist
- I like it when people actually try to move the fidelity needle; it doesn't always work here, and the direction becomes a bit disjointed (especially the camera is too linear at times), but overall this was a very solid effort. I didn't catch all the references to other demo(groups), but that part worked, too.

- demo Linux Windows MacOSX Intel Melodice by Damage
- Thoroughly uninteresting and quite bad sync, but OK enough to warrant a piggie.
