• I think what I truly disliked about the protracker/ft2 mode of operation is the way it had an edit mode and a play mode. (Same problem as with VI) ... I much preferred the mode of operation of ST3/IT where you'd let the track play (in looped mode possibly) and add to the patterns while it advanced.
  
  That and the handy (but obsoleted after) parameter interpolation commands shortcuts.

• By protagonist I meant the woman.
  
  Somehow my mind only could explain the demo by building some sort of siren-like or woman-of-the-snow story of a spirit attracting people to their doom, or alternatively of the ghost of a person who died in the sea. (For example in the ship) But this would have required definitely more stuff, and a non sea "dream" sequence.

  If you ever want to rip something by K.Kawai, I just can't stand is usual lyrical sugar. -- except maybe the soundtrack from Innocence. (Whose festival scene felt so demolike, actually, you got to see it)

• I have to also stress out the point made earlier about the fades. They don't fit very well. But I can't really see how I would've solved the problem anyway.
  
  - Caustics are nice (always!)
  - Didn't like the end with the almost lovecraftian affair, it felt out of place.
  - Could have played a more on building a connection between the protagonist and the ship.
  - The three parts might as well be reorganized in any sort of sequence, which might or might not be a bad point.
  
  And next time, you can rip a soundtrack from Boards of Canada, this might also work.
