- demo MSX Bold by Dvik & Joyrex [web]
- Nice MSX1 stuff, I dig the chess zoomer routine!

- intro Atari ST Sodium by Rave Network Overscan [web]
- Cool, Britelite on the ST! Smooth, nice and stylish => thumb up from me.

- wild Animation/Video A High Story of Demo by Map
- Well, there are some errors on some facts. For example while Texas Instruments did introduce their first graphing calculator in 1990, it was the TI-81 which didn't have the possibility to run assembler programs, the TI-82 from 1993 could. However the videos are from TI-83 (released 1996)
Anyway, such minor things are overshadowed by the fact that video footage from (if I counted correctly) no less than SIX of my demos scrolled by on the huge screen somewhere in France! :)
Guess it paid of to put up YouTube captures of my stuff! :D - rulezadded on the 2009-10-09 00:19:01
- demo Windows blunderbuss by Fairlight [web]
- Beautiful!
I get quite a lot of crackling noise in the music though. - rulezadded on the 2009-10-05 21:04:19
- 4k Windows Rudebox by Alcatraz [web]
- Cool! Extra plus for showing that you can do a 4k that runs properly on ATI as well, something many seems to have trouble with nowadays...

- demo C64 DTV Misery III by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Aha! The picture-roller actually isn't picking arbitrary lines, it just compresses the picture differently, which can be done using the modulo register. Nice trick! I got the illusion that it was a full FPP! :)

- demo C64 DTV Misery III by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Oh neat, a new DTV release I thought. Pulled out my modded DTV, found out that it had broken (loose wires). Since I have no soldering equipment (or skills) I then spent half an hour trying to fit tiny wires to soldering pads using nothing but eletrical tape.
Was it worth effort? It sure as hell was, because I am completely blown away by this demo!
The rotozoomer! The wolfenstein engine! And how in the name of *bleep* did you manage to make a FPP routine in the 256 color mode? I have tried coming up with a way to change the bitplane pointers on a per-line basis, but came to the conclusion that it was impossible!
Combined with the nice colorful graphics, this is without a doubt the best DTV demo ever. Much respect! - rulezadded on the 2009-10-04 12:37:26
- 4k intro Atari VCS NOICE #2600 by Noice [web]
- ctrix: I'd also be interested in that tracker!
I actually contacted an old Noice-member to do some music for this, and he said "sure!".
So I sent him some sources, a compiler, an emulator and told him to write a song as byte-defintions in the source.
Suddenly he wasn't so interested anymore... ;)
So having a tracker for the 2600 music would be most useful! - isokadded on the 2009-09-30 12:33:37
- 4k intro Atari VCS NOICE #2600 by Noice [web]
- Read the story behind this lame little intro in the readme.txt file.
I recommend running it in the "Stella" emulator.
I also made a really, really crappy vidcap (done by a cheap cam at a flickering CRT) that you can find here on youtube:

But be warned, it neither looks nor sounds very nice! :) - isokadded on the 2009-09-28 23:25:57
- 4k intro Atari VCS Triptych (preview) by Trilobit [web]
- Very nice stuff - clean and sharp-looking effects for a 2600 demo, the twister rules!
I'm guessing you do almost everything using the Player Graphics (P0, P1) to get it to look this good?
I dabbled a bit with 2600 coding and mostly used the Playfield graphics, with ugly low-res result.
Too bad that you have problems with the bank-switching, it would have been cool to have a multicart with demos! - rulezadded on the 2009-09-22 13:15:07
