Hey there ;) thanks for using my gfx ;-) I have absolutely nothing against it. In the future, if you'd like some original gfx for your prod just get in touch with me, here in Arise myself and Bimber are doing hires gfx all the time, it is for C64 but easily convertable to PC ;-) Nice prod!
thx! - isokadded on the 2019-03-28 20:10:19

try this ;)
speaking of modern cards/igfx: connecting monitor via digital interface (and via VGA on post-Ivy Bridge(?) Intel iGPU, not to mention HDMI->VGA converters - anything that's not a native VGA) would limit refresh rate to monitor default (i.e if display native timing is 1920x1080 60hz everything under DOS would run at 60hz, even textmode)
thx, that explains why I didn't realize that I missed it .. will repair it soon, enough bytes left to 8k border .. - isokadded on the 2019-03-28 20:07:17

"out of range" on both S3 and NVidia (well, 78hz is too much for standard VGA, don't forget to switch pixelclock to 25 MHz if 8px wide fonts are used :), works flawlessy in DOSBox. awesome trickery!
oops, sry :) didn't know that with the pixel clock, thx for the hint .. I tried to catch all pitfalls (took me a lot of effort to let the dosbox start screen correctly fade out ;) .. on my corei lenovo notebooks and my pcs (with nvidia cards & intel hd) everything went fine .. even if I don't have a vintage 286 I test all my stuff under pure dos on modern hardware ..
Quote:also extra thumb for fucking up my NC panels after exit :D
oops, I did it again :D .. had to change the scan lines for that .. - isokadded on the 2019-03-27 20:50:11
