- demo Windows don't stop by Portal Process
- for the first half of this demo i really loved it. felt very fresh (even tho it's the same engine as before :)) - maybe the nice models/movements and the music did it, and the rendering looked really good. unfortunately as it went on it seemed to lose steam, the music got repetitive, so did the visuals, and the models seemed to get worse.
still, its like half a very very good demo. =) - rulezadded on the 2005-08-02 21:54:32

- demo Windows Iconoclast by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- best demo in this kindof style ever. very impressive work.
just one thing, i hope it doesnt spawn a whole load of clones from other people.. that'll get boring pretty fast. :) - rulezadded on the 2005-08-01 17:13:57
- 64k Windows Flight 666 by Loonies [web]
- technically really impressive, nice models and gfx. music could have been better, but otherwise, this is some good shit.
btw, what the fuck is going on in the scene in the screenshot? it looks like some kindof mutant giving itself a blowjob. =) - rulezadded on the 2005-08-01 11:17:02
- 64k Linux Windows 195/95/256 by Rgba [web]
- i'll just say one thing: you bastards. =)
although:
- all the "lit" stuff is black here (gffx 5700 quadtro.. lame card i know, but it should handle it, right? unless you handle floating point buffers a bit nastily?).
- the music. just.. no.
- come on, make a new prod instead. =) that would be a lot more interesting.
- the precalc is, if it's AO, way too slow for what it is. if it's SH, its quite respectable. :) - rulezadded on the 2005-07-26 10:25:22
- 4k Windows Bassotron by Ümlaüt Design [web]
- great synth. wouldnt be out of place in a 64k, even. but the visuals need the same amount of work and quality on them.
at the moment with this and the bp one, it looks like you have a very nice 4k synth which eats most of the 4k and leaves you only enough room for some cubes.. :) (even tho i know thats not the case, thats how it looks from the prods)
so come on, hit us with the killer visuals too, and you'll have something really amazing then. - isokadded on the 2005-07-25 10:18:29
- invitation Windows Pubtro 1 by ukscene allstars [web]
- anyone else think it was a bit sick + rather lame to change the screenshot like that?

- demo Windows Osmosis<<.5f by vovoid [web]
- simple and dated looking (and sounding). and nothing interesting fx wise. quite nice manga picture tho.
oh, it chucked out a lot of errors about locking primary buffers etc on startup before making a window.. it ran fine afterwards tho. - isokadded on the 2005-06-20 10:31:20
- demo Windows Green Wave by SystemK [web]
- damn, am i getting a reputation for being a cruel and harsh critic? im not, honestly! =)

- demo Windows Green Wave by SystemK [web]
- wooow, that was ugly. and slow. looked and sounded like a quite bad 64k, with models+textures that look generated, and music that sounds like a softsynth.
i'm guessing the glitches aren't intentional..? featured what appears to be the world's worst grid warper for the credits, different objects in the scene moving out of sync with other objects, a really ugly tidal wave.. oh man. no idea where the ps2.0 hw was used, either.
oh well, at least they tried. it's a pretty difficult and grand concept to get right.
