• Optimus, psenough:
Well, unlike the europe, russia is mostly mono-nation country and hence russian language is used in every part of it (and still -- in many ex-ussr countries). So that means that russian people in general do not use english at all and the knowledge of it is not so widespread as in european countries.
Hence that, even since the rise of russian scene in 90ies, russian was the most widespread in demos/scrollers/cracktros/etc. Occasional english texts were used as to show off.
Nowadays the situation is of course different a lot, almost everybody here making demos is able to write smth in english. But still -- this 'hypegy' issue tries to keep old traditions. I think so.

• Oh, and the most importand thing is forgotten.
All "lamergies" were made as a humorous things. It could be either sad or funny, satire or ironic. This one contains some kind of scene poetry that contains somewhat insulting mockery to some heroes of another recent russian scene drama :)

• Music here seems to be the remix of this advertisement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx72hBZgjiY on russian TV from the beginning of 90ies, which advertised some pyramid scheme, its founders are now doing the same using bitcoins.

"Lamergy" was a type of single-article diskmag (or call it your name) covering actual themes (at the moment of writing) and being strictly anonymous. Now it seems that the original authors of Lamergy have dropped their job long time ago, but from time to time 'fake' Lamergies (or maybe not so fake?) made (presumably) by different people appear. This one seems to be the freshest, covering actual themes once again.
