- demo Windows Sweet Home Under Synthetic Clouds by Cocoon [web]
- Incredible amount of detail.
Should have one.

- demo Commodore 64 empirion by Bauknecht [web]
- Sometimes it confuses me to see mad "wasting" his energy with retro stuff (where he could code so much nice effects for me :) ). But this one is really awesome. I have no idea about c64 coding, but to me emperion looks way better than any other c64 demo I have seen so far. The only thing I didn't like was the constant loading breaks. But I guess you can't do anything about that...

- 64k Windows Antiphore by Inque [web]
- Looked very nice on the big screen. The screenplay got a little bit pointless in the second half, but it think it still rocks.

- demo Windows fr-059: momentum by Farbrausch [web]
- I beg you: invest some time into a final. I already love it as party release, but there is so much potential in the concept. The music already fits very well.
Maybe you could reduce the number of images (just the mountain theme?) and find more ways to threat the flock as a single character.
If you find a way to polish this one without losing it's original style, it could be a real peace of art. Where debris might lose its impact with evolving graphics hardware, demos like Chimera or Energia get better and better. You have a chance here, please take it... :) - rulezadded on the 2007-08-13 00:34:12
- demo Windows Media Error by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & orange
- I cannot put the finger on what makes this one so different to Halfsome. I completely agree to all the stuff ryg said. But after watching most entries for a few times, "media error" leaves a more decent impression to me. The images just stuck in my head. Maybe the atmosphere just matched my personal taste.
Can't wait to see their next years production. Someday...

...fairlight will make that one demo where everything comes together just naturally and becomes so much greater than the sum of its parts. the one demo to end all demoscene.
They getting closer.

- demo Windows The Inner Flame by Adapt [web]
- If you keep up this speed of development (from balance, over glowsick, to inner light) you will certainly get your place among the top demo groups very quickly. I should have bought some stock options :)
Really excellent work!

- demo Windows Lifeforce by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Without doubt the masters of transition. Like the variation of the music and archmage images, too.
I am speechless. - rulezadded on the 2007-08-05 01:59:13
- demo Windows halfsome by Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & Fairlight [web]
- Very weird. really agreeing with fiver2 and ryg.
@hyde: you are perfectly right: there is nothing to hide here. If would see ANY of the visuals in an art book, would buy it. But then, that just like it feels: Like very excellent print stuff. And unlike the last intel compo I don't have to watch it a thousand times to see all the stuff that's going on. But on the other hand, it should be an animation, shouldn't it?

- What fiver said.
But the overall atmosphere is so relaxing. I love the way, the ice shines through the water.
