• Actually the thing is that if you take a look at ATI's demos for the 9500/9600 cards (especily Car Showroom or the RNL demo), you may get surprised that it looks a lot better than most of today's demos. The proper way of avoiding this would be making cooler stuff instead of grumbling enviously on "how commercial" it is.
