- FoeBane72: All images look like they originally were square but have been streched to fit the screen. Image generators such as DALL-E generate square images. I may be more bothered by wrong aspect ratio than most, but I can't imagine an artist capable of creating such images by themselves would get this wrong.

- Baze did some magic and made a 16 byte version of the generator. The github repo has been updated with this and some other variants.

- demo ZX Spectrum Add Astra by Joker [web] & Arise
- The demo looks gorgeous and I have no problems with using animation in demos.
However, I'm not sure what to think about the insane loading times when running on original hardware. I ran it in an emulator without tape traps and it runs for 62 minutes, where over 56 minutes is loading. I guess that you manually have to start/stop the tape between each part too if you try to run this from tape.
Anyway, thumbs up from me! - rulezadded on the 2023-10-02 21:41:51

I really don't understand people complaining about the file size. in 2023, 700mb is really not that much data for what is shown here. And with video compression becoming better too, yes, demo's will be larger than their capture, it has nothing to do with the code? I'm really baffled about _that_ as a complaint..
Lossless H.264-capture (4:4:4) in 1440p ended up at around 50 GB, so 700 MB is reasonable. :) - isokadded on the 2023-08-07 18:57:07
