- demo Amiga OCS/ECS HAMazing by Desire [web]
- 180p-ish unnecessary for some effects it feels, AA lines shown for a split second. Show off, I want to see!
Improved HAMphrey (we should talk!) looks good, as do HAM transitions. Other images looked less good, but the "boom RGB primary color parrot/woman in scarf baby" was reigned in (perhaps not appreciated by fans of traditional HAM slideshows, but by me.)
Grats on a worthy sequel! This alone is very hard to achieve. - rulezadded on the 2024-01-30 21:37:09
- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS Pesso by Dekadence [web]
- Soil looked better, but I had this higher for the AA. Solid 40K for sure!

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Hardwired by Crionics & The Silents [web]
- For any release in any year, you can choose real or story, and crafted or converted.
This particular demo is still important to the Demoscene, because it was at a crossroads between the two - after sufficient competition and education, to know what you're watching. The choice that it stuck with was made here first in a competitive setting - with very few exceptions since.
These exceptions represent a golden age, if but for the few until again the many become wise to choose the real and the crafted. (For each of the ages and platforms.) - isokadded on the 2023-12-17 01:50:46
- demo Commodore 64 Wild Freespin by Reflex [web]
- Such a great take on the obvious, once you think of it. Might have won Revision Wild, on the other hand Gubbdata was 'about' C64 in a way Revision Wild could never be. Good stuff and wise choice. :)

- demotool Amiga AGA Amiga OCS/ECS SpaceBoot by Scoopex [web]
- @hitchhikr nothing, other than that floppy emus are sometimes used to boot from optionally bootswitched DFn and it disables the other drives and continues leaving unfragmented max chipmem. Its strength is rather in the other subtle choices. They are small, but they are there from testing many setups with 3 friends.
For scener devs it's unobtrusive, you just get more allocable chipmem for your filedemo, so you won't have to decide whether to overwrite the OS data and prevent exit. If you present it with ANSI art, the art won't be messed up on a KS20+ Amiga. Stuff like that.
The menu is for users and only shows if you hold RMB. Some functions are suitable for creating and running packdisks, and some will actually be duplicated as commands later to allow them to be automated or put in a menu.
The AmiLiveFloppy project is meant as a universal platter on which you just put executable files and users can pop in the disk and the programs will start, regardless of Amiga model. - isokadded on the 2023-11-23 20:55:04
