- demo JavaScript YAS Brouhaha by mikucom
- Makes me wonder what kinds of devices this could run on. Sometimes the browser is the sole way to run external code on consoles and smartthings. Awesome work and stellar soundtrack!

- demo Windows Happio by Humane
- I really HATED some of the gfx in this one. Feels like some mkultra type beat. Thumbs for making me so uncomfortable.

- demo Windows Stranger Stranger by Velocity
- One of my favorites from this year. Just could use a bit more details, overlays, post effects or something.

- demo Windows E131 by Ivory Labs
- Really nice, well deserved compo ranking. Using rocket with Unity? Creative solution.

- demo Windows Shine n flow by Adapt [web]
- This crashed AMD drivers or wayland compositor on lelux, so had to watch on youtube but I like it. Lots of detail and great soundtrack too.

- demo Windows JavaScript Dreams of Neon by mfx [web] & Dual Crew Shining [web]
- For my zoomer brain this demo was too long and slow. I did enjoy the soundtrack though, at least until it started to feel repetitive. Visuals/animation etc looked great. I'm also tempted to judge demotools&engines but I'm trying to make my peace with it, because UE, Notch and cables (etc.) are raising the bar which is good overall even though it makes the compos harder for "organic/whole-code" graphics porogrammers.

- Nice idea to make a desktop linux demo but without proper attention to window management you may break some people's desktops or display arrangements :(
And esc didn't seem to stop it so I had to kill the (glitching out) demo by swithching to a virtual console.
Yeah, this is one of those things where Linux totally sucks.
My proposal: never use anything else than some version of SDL, even if you just need a little OpenGL context and window. SDL seems to handle fullscreen stuff just gracefully on all desktop software. - isokadded on the 2016-06-01 12:32:56
