- demo Windows col.or.
- If this is a tech demo, it didn't convey that it was tech, or even a demo, in any way whatsoever. Don't just zip your dev folder. Make a demo.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Bikie - 420 Bobs by Phenomena
- Heh. I remember he finished coding this on the party, on a tiny ~9" monochrome monitor he'd brought. It was quite cute :) Might be at least a part of an explanation for color choices :) Shown on several big CRT TVs in the main hall and I remember we protested cos the orgas kept clicking out of the demo before the unicycle appeared... that was the whole point of the demo :)

- UI could be improved visually and functionally, but it's in the right spirit and progressing I see :)

- demo Commodore 64 Timewaster by Focus
- I sense an affiliation with someone linked to art exhibitions. You could have made a demo about it. Maybe we should all write text plot routines to express our deep, deep thoughts instead? Just think how much time we would save.

- intro Amiga OCS/ECS Rebelina by Rebels
- Lore, memories, love that :) Also, good that you found this and released it. Agree with decision to release as is. As a release though, now or then, it's piggy for me.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS In a Dream by Equinox [web]
- Thumb for lots of work squeezed into 2 minutes :) Also quite nicely presented with quality enthusing music! As for the OCS thing, it seems to be made on and for A500 with real fastmem (to make the stars and Dweezil zoomer run full-framerate). Also seems to require just over 1MB total memory (but it could also work by being put on its own floppy which I haven't tried).

- demo Amiga AGA Mindflow by Stellar [web]
- Not too sure about the effect in screenshot :P but what I liked were the transitions and it runs nicely on stock A1200+fastmem, plus nice (and funny!) picture. Parallax' Doom walls spanked Stellar here though! :)

- demo Amiga AGA Drool This by Parallax
- Quote:
The effects are even 1x1, except maybe the landscape. Also back then those rendered pics were SO c00l!
As for the renders, this demo was preceded with nicer ones on OCS, though. Voxeli is 2x2 and is quite ok because 1994 is early times :) Doomi is 2x1!
Wot, no perspective-incorrect-texture comment from Stingray?? :) Perhaps because he agrees with me that these were early times.
Endpart music is cheese factory from the time the saxophone was discovered inside a synth (1984??), but it also has a cow standing in water, which means insta-thumb on its own :D
No, the cow was cool but Doom engine in 8 months from release date (in USA, not here) is the superb achievement here. Are there earlier ones on Amiga? - rulezadded on the 2016-04-09 00:29:19
- demo Amiga AGA Breathtaker by Virtual Dreams & Fairlight [web]
- If it ain't
Dutchrealtime it ain't much... or it could be much, it could be tons of work and beautiful but it's still not what I look for in a demo. - sucksadded on the 2016-04-09 00:03:45
