• I'm a bit torn about this because as a technical achievement it's great, and it holds your attention just fine. At the same time it's not exactly easy on the eyes and ears for the most part.

  Actually that's not fully accurate, although it was part of it. My main criticism was that while Hello Kevin was a fresh new exploration of social anxiety within the scene context, and Echo Chamber was a satire of how locked in we are as a scene - i.e. both prods presented an implicit well-intentioned criticism - this one seems to lack any of that and just plays into stale humour (Family Guy-level) and in the end turns out to be an invitation for a party which makes it little more than the things the previous installments tried to satirize, which is either ironic or cynical.
  
  That's not to say it's not well-executed - it most certainly is - but at the same time it's aiming low and taking no risks, which in light of Hello Kevin is pretty disappointing.
