- Some notes about the hardware:
The mainboard is plain Pentagon 1024SL 2.x of 2005 that means we still have around 80000 t-states in colour-per-pixel mode and around 100000 t-states in spectrum screen. Some effects (tunnel, rotator and falling screen) are in spectrum screen for this reason.
NeoGS runs Z80 at 24 MHz that gives us around 440000 t-states because of waits of DMA transfer. No FPGA acceleration used.
DMA transfer here means the mainboard reads NeoGS memory instead of ROM. The typical NeoGS-to-screen loop is ld d,(hl):ld e,(hl):push de.
