• hm that is truely weird. It kind of feels like a distant relative of B10 by Satori (one of my favourite demos). Very distant though..

• guys, that crash problem is down to indeo 3.2 codec missing. Any video for windows format for the avi (assuming you have the right codec) will do. Divx (for example) won't cut it.

• yes, actually, there are tons of processing effects that didn't make it into the demo. By shuffling a few commands I could make it into a web-cam real-time visualizer. Would that have a VJ potential ? It would need a good quality camera placed somewhere in the party place. Then project the vectors over them. hehe !

• yes I have. You are running either under windows 2003 server or something that doesn't have intel indeo 3.2 codecs. You could either install or try it on another OS.
  
  XP/2000 and 2003 should be fine though for the most of us.

• the pixel shader is used for the bloom effect. It could do without, yes, but I think that the days of non-ps2.0 demos are over... and rightly so. I won't toil over opengl extensions anymore for the few brave left with mx440.. :-)
