- I rather liked this. I'm always fascinated by those emerging patterns from overlapping alpha geometry. Plus a demo that took only a moment to download and runs on my laptop gets bonus points. Not high art, not high tech but enjoyable enough for a thumb.

- Yes, please fix this, the video is very good. I love the continuous feeling of depth and the atmosphere here. One criticism is that for me at least a simple fade, rather than jerks of camera would have suited the atmosphere/music better. Could be a great 64k - hope you do a final.

- crashed for me too (x1950, xpsp2) :-( it was going well. Music continued and it exited naturally.

- killed my PC. (x1950, xp sp2). Screen went black, music failed, had to reboot. No idea what the issue is but , wild stab in the dark...shaders developed on Nvidia?

- @pantaloon: thanks. yeah I was trying something similar. Missed the trick with sharpened normals which I guess means each pass is unconditional whereas I was doing a conditional blur (to retain normals at the edge of geometry) and that was slow. Kudos.
