- I'm torn, either it really wanted to be political, but on the other hand the NFO states the opposite - hmm.
Maybe it's a compofiller, nonetheless Traction sure was busy in 2006 so far :)

- game Windows Armageddon Armadillo Assault by Traction [web] & Jumalauta [web]
- It's not really bad and it seems to have a lot of effort being put into it, on the other hand the controls are really horrible. The kickback when shooting is annoying, the level makes you walk back because you noticed you need to jump far - didn't even find the nerve to play through it completely. It sure has some neat ideas, but maaaan it makes me rage.
Found the music to be too repetitive as well, it just nags after a few loops.
A piggy for the effort - isokadded on the 2013-05-27 00:10:35
- game Windows Hattu Warrior Turbo by Traction [web] & Jumalauta [web]
- Well, one flies a shit head to the loo - why not ^^
Somehow the last level 'cat in a hat' starts and is done immediately when I try to enter, FWIW :) - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 23:42:59
- demo Windows Amethyst by Traction [web] & deMarche
- The last tunnel sure needs sunglasses to be at disposal, though it's neat to see you moved ito new realms - the lines are sparingly used, and instead 3D objects take their place.
It's quite beautiful to look at, and the tune makes the journey a nice trip <3 - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 23:20:12
- 64k Linux Windows MacOSX PPC Indigo by Traction [web]
- Holy shit for a firsti! Good amount of scenes with a very cool tune as well, didn't feel it's codercolourish, okay maybe in some spots - but wow - what a firsti! O_o

- demo Windows No way back by Traction [web] & Ümlaüt Design [web]
- Took me a second run to notice the sheer amount of effects one is bombarded with, it doesn't spare to throw them into your face for a second to just go to the next one - holy shit the work this must have been.
The sync is spot on, and the fast paced action surely shows in the visuals as well, no time to stand still the next effect is on already. I loved the glow stick explosion, and the two horned man made out of lines - some of the 2D art is enjoyable as well - a bigger slice of the cake goes to the tune.
Cool one! - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 22:43:59
- demo invitation Windows Explosive! by Traction [web]
- Oh holy cow, I remember seeing this on the demoscene.tv stream waaay back then, and was blown away by the style and attitude of the demo. Of course it still rocks, it's surely not the typical Traction demo but now that I know what to look out for it shows.
Well done, for me this was a blast from the past - especially the tune =) - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 22:27:06
- 64k Linux Windows Amiga PPC/RTG MacOSX PPC Ante Dominum by Traction [web]
- Math is beautiful,- you had me at the tunnel that isn't one :)
The music is damn good as well, I feel this is what chill core is supposed to sound, ace! - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 22:19:03
- 64k Linux Windows Amiga PPC/RTG MacOSX PPC MacOSX Intel It's Full of Stars by Traction [web]
- I feel it's a demo were you have to be in the mood to let the demo grab you into it's gravitational field and suck you in. At first I felt alienated by the music, and it kept me at distance - but then after the first "ding" on my left ear - I started to let go. It's a slow pace it's traveling at, but a welcome change to DnB demos full of things that want your attention.
For some people the traveling ending scene of 2001 is just a bunch of video clips taken from an airplane showing earth in the wrong colours, for some they're other worlds, maybe worlds that have been forgotten, maybe they're really huge planets full of ships ready to die as in the book.
Surely not easy to digest, but on a Sunday with a cold beer and a warm open mind it's easy to enjoy.
Bet the glow mode looked better on a CRT, though the blue tunnel unveils a black planet in this mode (if you feel like it). - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 21:48:12
- demo Windows B-sides and Rarities by Traction [web] & Jumalauta [web]
- Sometimes it's good not to read the NFO, just let the demo surprise you - a bit like not watching the trailer for a movie. I really didn't expect to hear the Cure in a demo ever, but this just really blew me away - and at the same time hit home closely.
I'm torn, about the feeling of being reminded on something that was, and won't come back - and then actually being happy about it.
The visuals feel like meeting old friends, I noticed the baby head, the water ripples, art from disk0, the checkerboard and many more. Sure some scenes could have been more polished, on the other hand - in this demo it isn't really that important for me.
I need to ask the Bank of Pouet for a glöp credit, this misses an CDC. - rulezadded on the 2013-05-26 21:24:51
