- 4k MS-Dos palette rotate
- whether it belongs here or not is one thing, but presenting it as a 4k intro is misleading
i think the demoscene is a subculture, and primarily about people, culture, relationships, intentions etc. and so you need to think about what's the intended purpose of something, and to me it seems that the intended purpose of this particular production was most likely not what is commonly meant by "4k intro" - i might be wrong of course
of course if you just look at its technical properties, sure: size, executability, ...
if i add an executable prefix to my pouet comments, i wonder if they become demos ;) - isokadded on the 2014-09-09 21:58:37
- 4k MS-Dos palette rotate
- ok as a 1993 coding tutorial
crap as a 4k intro, obviously
should everyone start digging for coding tutorials and enter them as "intros"?
anything that is executable, is automatically a demo? bullshit - isokadded on the 2014-09-09 19:00:51

- demo MS-Dos/gus Naisen pää by Fit [web] & The Funky IceCream Machine
- "not shown" is clearly not right, because i am 100% sure this was shown on the big screen at abduction 1996, maybe it was outside the compo or something, but it was definitely shown

- 1k MacOSX Intel Superstructure by The Digital Artists [web]
- It requires a pretty powerful GPU, and uses whatever screen mode and resolution you're running. Try setting your screen mode to 800x600 or something before starting the intro.
