- Platform specs to run demo?

- demo ZX Spectrum Kpacku Deluxe by Kpacku
- This release is nothing but a scandal, and everyone who has thumbed it up has been fooled. :/
Too bad you can't change votes on Pouet after you learn stuff, huh?
And the platform is still not specified. But I guess most of those who voted have no plans of running a demo on a computer. - sucksadded on the 2015-09-23 22:36:37
- intro Amiga OCS/ECS How 2 make a vector cube by Dual Crew Shining [web]
- DCS were good, this is AFAIK the first improvement on the glitchy HAM-vectors by Freddy in Phoenix Megademo. So, another great and underestimated coder. I've seen this demo years ago, but didn't notice the letter 'M' ;)
So that means I've been beaten to HAM-vectors as well as HAM blenk by Tycoon of DCS, and all I can do is admit defeat. He is too modest here, but also perhaps correctly modest since he probably also discovered that the no-fill gain of HAM vectors is defeated by the need of drawing many more lines. :) I would say however that the larger and simpler the objects, the easier, so that my implementation has merits closer to general usability. And also that it's no problem filling 3 bpls fullscreen overscan. :) - rulezadded on the 2015-09-23 22:01:54
- demo Windows Elégtelen by The Adjective
- Disturbing for the sake of it, liked it. But is there a reason for the 2003 visuals that I'm missing? I think further graphical degradation would have actually sold it solidly.

- demo Atari STe Satan Stole My Atari by Lamers
- Requiring HDD +4MB excludes some STe users I think. And the music, well as some have said, it has to sound evil enough to convince else it's just lame ;) But I liked the gfx and fire greetings :) yes, short but with the right attitude which I like.

- demo Windows Rainbow Clash: Way by United Force [web] & Digital Dynamite [web]
- The music is aimless and I do miss artwork in PC demos... without the idea, I confess to thinking "someone gave someone an engine, here, make something". I recognize the editor work, but for me there must be something to understand in a demo. And under the very appealing shiny filters! what content is there just looks so freely downloadable from the web.

- 256b MS-Dos Centurio by Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Hm, some glitches seem built in, like the bit weird iso phong inversion. And some not, f.ex. I get black stars. And the cubes leave a garbage trail when they dip down. Still good for 256b, and still a little too glitchy (with no fun/sync/motivation to warrant it, if you get me) for me.

- 256b MS-Dos Descent by Desire [web]
- What's the exact platform specs to run this on a real machine, with sound? (I guess, the compomachine specs?)

- 256b MS-Dos Megapole by Red Sector Inc. [web]
- If I were there voting and had to choose, I confess I would vote Immediate Railways before this (for idea, graphics fidelity and variation). But that doesn't change the fact that this is eeexcellent :)
