- demo MS-Dos alt-pier by Nalleperhe
- no, optimus is right.. you can do lots more with quickbasic.. but somehow i don't think that was the point of this production..

- demo Windows 1234565 by eL
- it had a nice feel to it, and yes, simple.. the distorted torus was synced really well.. very pleasant to watch.. good to hear a quality xm for a change (instead of usual low bitrate mp3) . moody idm suited the production well.. perhaps the bit with the metallic hihat goes on longer than it needed to.. anyhow, sometimes simplicity is a virtue so up goes the thumb..

- 1k MS-Dos nibble by Flare [web]
- surely this can be done in higher res in 1k? as far as i can tell it even uses a dithering overlay to fake it's way up to 320x200..

- demo Windows Genoaux by Haujobb
- pretty nice stuff.. great music and nice to hear some alternative time signatures.. i like slow paced things, and as the silhouette was expanding, i thought this might go somewhere interesting.. but then it's over except for some stars! so i was left rather unmoved..

- demo Windows medium by Einklang.net [web]
- ryg - i know they do pro shows, and wish i lived in that part of the world to see them in action.. but clearly they've got some good code that could be tweaked and used for another production. of course, demos probably don't pay as well.. but from the video files i've downloaded, looks like they're still using recycled bits of this, so surely they should release another demo so they have some new source material for their vj shows :)

- demo Windows wonder by Sunflower [web]
- still beautiful in a maximalist sort of way.. a little too much motion blur perhaps.. the 2d art was very well done.. very interesting credits part.. music's not bad and is synced alright but didn't really seem to fit the mood of the visuals..

- 64k Windows Your Scientists Invented Electricity by T-Rex [web]
- better than broadband and in many less bytes with more restraint in the design.. similar sort of concept though.. i like electric flowers, personally..

- demo Windows h3o breather by Threestate
- unique fx, great design, good music.. too short, oh well..

- 4k Windows MRDZ by Oxygene [web]
- it was alright, but there was a noticeable pause everytime the fractal was updated.. no fullscreen mode either.. plus, even though it allegedly zooms to near infinity, it crashed after about 6 minutes of running it in the background.. so no thumb.. a fullscreen mode would've been nice..

- 256b MS-Dos BrainfuckVGA256b by Deus Ex Machina [web]
- well ugly fx.. but anyone who can code anything that works in that language is alright with me..
