- I do not understand why this uses such a fake glow effect. Why would you do something like that in a software engine? I think ryg wrote some lines somewhere how to do a proper glow effect, and if you have the frame buffer, it's also simple to do (and probably even faster than this fake glow, which seems to use hell of an overdraw). Though it's nice to see someone using software rendering.
