• Ok... SDL and our code might suck as well ;v) But nevertheless, why is it for Windows that small buffer sizes fail? OSX is happy with 1k block and with Linux you can go down to 512 bytes with about any soundcard.

  Updating the drivers and/or setting sound card acceleration on has usually helped with the SDL small buffer problem.
