• Not everything is allright. OK the crash is gone. I have an ATI Catalyst 10.4, HD 5850, and what happened is what noby said. It's dark at the beginning, no purple shade. "you could fly by static geometry" doesn't have all the geometry that can be seen in the video. At least it's progressing :)

  Don't you ever start believing in such things... the bug is elsewhere :) redundant 1* or 0+ statements will not "patch" it.
