- demo Windows Payflash Revisited by Yenetrit
- Oddly enough, apart from the starting scene this was actually pretty well framed and paced, which compensated a lot for the rest.
What I don't get is why the framerate tanks to like 5 fps every so often - considering it happened with Gaspode's last demo too, I'm wondering if it's a Tooll problem. - isokadded on the 2017-02-20 11:57:27
- 4k procedural graphics Windows Takochu Kiss by Fizzer

- 64k Windows 昔 by Poo-Brain [web]
- The audio lacks a lot but the visuals are a good start.

- demo Amiga AGA Storm Rider by Focus Design [web]
- Can we just have a moment of commiseration for an obviously capable lyricist who had to work with these absurd names and circumstances? :)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Makt by Spaceballs [web]
- The track does the heavy lifting, the visuals just revert to monochromatic strobing to hide in.

- demo Commodore 64 Neon by Triad [web]
- I'll be honest, I feel the music missed the synthwave mark (perhaps deliberately, I don't know) and was paradoxically "too" retro, so the end result felt like a relatively common C64 demo with a visual theme tacked on. If the music would've been more deliberately late-80s and perhaps a bit thicker, more darker, I think it would've served the experience better.
In general I feel that jumping on the synthwave bandwagon on the C64 might be too contrived - taking something that was updating an old aesthetic and retro-ifying it again, "demaking a remake" in a sense, might be too many layers for the essence not to be lost. - isokadded on the 2017-02-12 15:23:57
- demo Commodore 64 The Shores of Reflection by SHAPE

- wild Animation/Video HBC-00015: SubSurface by ½-bit Cheese [web]
- Aww man, such a shame it ends abruptly, I was actually fascinated how much more balanced the tone was for a HBC release in comparison to the zany previous ones. Even with this these guys are still way beyond the wild demo category.
