• Finally a demo that shows the PC-98 and the EGC in its unique light! Its been a long time coming seeing something like this and i hope it spurs others to code for PC-98. Its a wonderfully esoteric platform but it has tons of untapped potential. What a great demo.

• This demo works for me because it has all the classic hall marks that worked in the early to mid 90s. And its for a 386 to boot, so even when you had Amiga out there, this is the kind of demo that made a 386 PC look equivalent in the visuals department.
  
  Its in the same vein as the Crystal Dreams of that era, but it never became a classic. Nevertheless, it still rules because it perfectly encapsulates the scene of 1994. At the cusp of the big 3D rendered demo's, but still firmly rooted in VGA-effectwork.

• They say a Pentium is strongly recommended and it is not hard to see why - This is that kind of big software rendered 3D that worked very well on the Pentium.
  
  So the fact it can run somewhat smoothly on a 486 makes this even more impressive considering what it was doing. The shadowmapping tech in particular isn't really something you expect a 486 to render but here we are.
  
  Its definitely a product of its time and i'd argue less impressive today than in 1997, but if you have a 486 lying around, for that chip, its one of those ''Huh?'' demo's :) So it rulez :)

• Love the rendering aspect of this, but not a fan of the soundtrack nor the syncing to it. I have to say it really hinders the potential of this demo, because the 3D and wolf are very, very solid. Some scenes played out for too long. So i see a lot of great pieces, but a solid whole is yet to be reached.

• Sublime pacing and design, has everything you expect from a new-gen 2026 OCS demo. Soundtrack is ace, demo really caters to the OCS/ECS strengths.

• New Dreamcast stuff is always great and it being done by a group that is known for targetting other platforms, even better. Having said that, the visuals inspire for more. I love the effects, and the 3D parts, but it isn't that coherent. I feel there was an effort to do an Amiga AGA 3D style demo here, but the pacing felt off.
  
  Nevertheless it still gets a thumbs up because the Dreamcast has so much more to give. There is a lot of untapped potential here1

• Gobsmacking. This flows so well, the dual layer sections are visually stunning, the spoken words audibly impressive, but the last part, when the camera pans out, i audibly let out a ''WTF''. 3D scenery has been done before, but this was truly breathtaking.
  
  Another testament that there is forever something new to discover on C64. Even 40+ years later. Brilliant demo.
  
  Also that soundtrack is the best SID abuse ive heard since Edge of Disgrace. That's a very tall mountain to reach, and this production definitely is up there.

• Only discovering this in 2026 after using Elevated as my go-to example to explain the scene to people who aren't sceners. And then there is this. Its a fantastic approximation, and that tune! Holy smokes. 1K midi muzak, its awesome. This is the equally awesome but obscure brother to Elevated.

• We are finally breaking the limits again and getting actual music at these byte ranges. In terms of tiny, this is huge. What a mesmerizing intro. The first 16 byte with actual music as far as i am concerned. Amazing.

• What better way to celebrate 40 years of scene domination by making a retrospective demo like this. A wonderful tune marred to wonderful visuals and a throwback to all that Razor 1911 has produced. This is one of those greats of 2026.
