• (Well, technically I did bend the rules, because the runtime was over 8 minutes. But they asked before the party if it was okay, and asked nicely, I told them - we will play it to the end, but make it worth it. I think they lived up for that. Feel free to fight me on this one, while I don't care.)

• For the record - and because "the orgas" (a.k.a. me ... and also me) were mentioned by Photon, the recording which was presented in the actual Revision 2026 demo competition was recorded FROM A SINGLE REAL ACTUAL PHYSICAL DISK which I still have in my possession, from the real actual mechanical physical disk drive in my A500. Because:
  
  1., the disk was given to me by a_b, for easy verification
  2., because whatever firmware my (external) Gotek runs, doesn't support Extended ADF
  3., the HFE image available from here did NOT exist at the time
  4., I would have verified the claims of running it from a single real DD disk ANYWAY, because of the special nature of the entry
  
  So no, they did not bend the rules, neither they "pulled one" on me.

  So newschool, and fresh. The slow-ish pace wasn't something I liked at first, but it really grew on me. Well deserved win.

• This was the first demo had to I run from a physical floppy for compo recording after many many years. But this time it was for a very good reason. Luckily the drive in my A500 was still up to the task.
  
  Mindblowing tech in a very 90s package, but it's right up my alley. Just the sheer amount of coding content would have deserved a win, but such is life and competition, of course.

• So close to be a top top 64k, but the glitches I had to fight along the way to get it recorded spoils it a bit for me. Nevertheless, a clear thumb up.
