- I'm curious how many LUTs you need for such a demo, and compare that to how many LUTs you would need for a vintage like CPU with some BRAM and ROM that could run a similar demo.

- game Windows Tricky Truck by Archee [web]
- It crashes even when setting it to "old computer". Is my computer not old enough? :-)
(I think Intel945 Express Graphics on XP should be old enough) - isokadded on the 2010-08-08 20:36:24

- 256b MS-Dos Monitor in Desert
- Thumb up! But not for the effect, but for the first DOS program I ever saw that can reproducibly bluescreen my WinXP even when run as non-administrative user (Mobile Intel 945 Express Gfx...; any ideas where to throw bug-reports to at Intel?).
It shows the effect, and bluescreens a few seconds later. - rulezadded on the 2008-06-06 20:21:31
- demo game Linux Windows Do it yourself demo by Limp Ninja [web]
- nice idea. i used my favourite macro language for the 101x spacebar and the brushing thing though, it's too hard to do that on a crappy notebook keyboard and a touchpad :)

- demotool MS-Dos Monotone by Hornet [web]
- nice idea. Sound "quality" (of the video) reminds me of PalmTracker for Palm OS [which can quite useful if you have some written notes in front of you and want to know how they sound]. Does anyone want to port the PalmTracker demo tune to Monotone? :)

- diskmag Windows ZINE #13 by Brainstorm [web] & BitFellas [web]
- hi smash, how to drop you an email there is none in your profile :(
i have most likely the same problem, the start screen looks like the upper left screen on the screenshot but no font altogether, when clicking around a bit i can zoom in and see nice images (like the scene.org logo in the lower left of one of the screens) but no text altogether.
http://home.arcor.de/mschierlm/test/zine13.png
tried it on winxp both as restricted user and as admin.
do you require any non-standard font (not included with winxp) to read it?
--> plz drop me an email to zine13.mihi42 at safersignup.com thx - isokadded on the 2008-03-01 13:12:09

- nice story, nice music.
The UI would be a lot better if it allowed alt+tabbing out. Scrolling to the page I left off when I closed and reopened it later is a pain in the ass. - rulezadded on the 2007-10-31 22:01:17
