I just wanted to clarify that Jesper Kyd didn't do the amiga tracking - he wrote the original music for Amok and gave us permission to do a tracker version to use in this. Virgill's cover is so spot-on it's I tended to forget what I was looking at.
Rhino, great trick with the secret part! I like it. and much taller than mine! Mine was 57+bg, not just 57, so I guess that's a matter of interpretation if it's a record. It feels like it's possible to get a few more, I just can't get the puzzle pieces together.
OH and speaking of secrets, I hope someone can find the secret part in THIS demo. It is MUCH better hidden than Rhino's, but there should be clues to find it. I GUARANTEE it is worth finding (even though it isn't a record effect) - isokadded on the 2025-04-21 15:33:56

- This is probably my favorite Focus Design demo of all time - all elements come together beautifully. Effect, music, graphics, timing all polished. Loved the beginning - I wonder where you got the inspiration, and the font :-)

- I didn't like it at the time because it didn't feel like a "real demo". In hindsight it was a great demo that expanded what a demo could be.

- This demo significantly raised the bar for demos at the time - consistent design and colors, impressive effects (at the time), stylish intro, efficient use of 1mb, lots of attitude. A shame it didn't win that competition

- I don't have anything against "animation player demos" (and did one myself :-). this one is technically brilliant due to the super impressive image processing tools used to generate the greyscale anims. The actual demo not too interesting to me
