Were there ever any "high-end" Atari ST prods, like 030 to 060 kinda stuff? The Amiga was blessed with a huge number of impressive such prods, but was the ST? And I don't mean Falcon -

I said non-Falcon stuff, sorry -
Foebane, I think the answer is no for enhanced ST as opposed to Falcon. There were upgrades, but favoured by non- scene 'productivity people'. The most enhanced we got was compatibility with 16 MHz Mega STE. -
CiH: Thanks for the clarification :) I guess Falcon is like AGA for the Atari ST family of computers. - 2025-05-19

Foebane, nail smacked firmly on the head, you could say Falcon is the AGA equivalent. -
One day, a computer will fit on a desk (1974) | RetroFocus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTdWQAKzESA -
From what I've gathered, I'd say STe was the "AGA" of ST computers (AGA being a late incremental update to base system), then TT030 was a completely new computer with highres grayscale and some ST compatibility, and then Falcon was more advanced than any Amiga. -

The Falcon was only superior in the audio department, the system still had 1/64th of the AGA Amiga's true colour palette of 16,777,216 colours, and the chunky mode palette was much lower still -
I'd like to see zero three zero or quake 2 renderers on a stock AGA machine
