Just use FS-UAE. -
no need to rewrite WinUAE, it works fine under Wine - I'm thinking of one day running my Windows 10 software on a VM under Linux... eventually

most software works fine under Wine... drivers however... - WinUAE just goes black in my Linux Mint & Nividia, need to restart x11.

I can recommend https://amiberry.com for Linux/macOS (uses the same core as WinUAE) -
Amiberry is terrible, hardly anything of today's standards works properly -
I was today years old when I learnt about the alpha max plus beta min algo - Just use FS-UAE.

- Linux is a parody of both Windows and Unix, so it might be better to stick with the originals :)
