Very interesting website, I really love the old forum style because it feels so nostalgic. Found this website through The Mod Archive! -
To the really oldpouters here: Is this the same forum-design since the start of pouet? I created my account in 2009 and I think it didn’t changes till then. -

Under the skin, they improved and keepth Pouet functional and up to date. From the layout, hmm... Never noticed that they changed much. -
afaik gargaj de<table>ed it at some point for <div>s so technically the design is not original in that sense :) -
the look and feel is however rather unchanged, since at least 2002. (Of course we did not have features such as a watchlist etc back then, but most of it was here already) -
Coding will be different in the sense that there will be the knowers, the occult magicians, and the rest who will look at them like we used to look at coders from the 80s. But don't let anyone convince you that it's dead the way we normally do it. Corporations can suck my ass but I am not giving it -

Also "good enough" is the enemy of good, I've noticed many times, unable to affect the end result... - hehehe, also true =)...
