Q: I have a 3D file/model in blender. How can I add the mesh (lines) to the model and save both combined into one file? I want a file with both lines and surface combined. The interface kills me... -
rarefluid : Have you tried googling "wireframe blender" ? :) -
I googled some, but maybe not the right words... -
Export as an .obj, so you have readable vertices with mesh information as well ? -
i doubt splines end up as geometry in .obj files as technically they do not consist of polys. -
WHAT'S TAMAALI HOT HOT TAMAALI? -
I need a VRML97 file. I tried using „Script“>Mesh>Solid Wireframe, but the lines do not show up in the .WRL... Oh, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamale. Quite tasty actually :) -
that's because splines aint meshes.. try giving them a little radius and then convert them to mesh (general 3d app answer, cos i rarely used blender cos its gui is designed by a hurricane) -

It seems that .obj actually supports splines, maali. Of course, they're not stored as raw vertices. :) -
it does support splines indeed, though I've never seen an .obj file that actually uses them. -
See BBS. All this Blender-for-dummies tutorials on the inet don't work out for me... -
it's because Blender is for dummies. -
for example ; in street fighter game , you are doing adoket with ryu , who is saying adoket ? like this...I need this dubbing videos -
Blender is for graphic artists and jazz musicians :) -
