Just a simple question. -
I used to support unconditional basic income. Now I support basic income on the condition that you manage to shut the fuck up about it for 5 minutes. -
some people have social shortfalls in the way that they lack a certain sensibility. its quite common in nerdy communities, usually they dont mean it but are just unable to see how it is received on the other side of the fence. -
or then they simply are self-centered assholes who do could not care less. - i know its tempting to jump to that conclusion but id rather grant an asshole the benefit of doubt than the other way around.

As rude as that comment seems, it's not necessarily intentionally hurtful. Just thoughtlessly put. I wouldn't (at least not yet) go around hanging anyone over it. - So surely he will just admit it and apologize now, right?
