imo: 1.Amiga hw->aeons ahead of PC; 2.Amigascene->PC copied almost everything; 3.The Amiga software & its legacy; 4.The spirit; 5.It's simply the AMIGA...=) - real answer: x86 is 1970s stuff, but became a recognizable demo platform in the 90s, a fair bit after c64/AMIGA. Also: x86 is still commercially relevant.
