The main bulk of the game is singleplayer, the on-line capabilities seem to be missing judging by what I've read about the game on a few sites. -
From what I hear, in theory you can encounter other players, but in practice the chances are close to zero. -

the speccy demo archive is awesome! - visy: I totally don't envy the guys at Hello Games; I feel a lot of the problems they have now is a result of artificial hype they had no control over :(

Does anyone wants to make a videocapture for http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=67978 ? That would be rad :=) - gargaj: from the list of issues i been hearing it sounds like a fast made PC port and lack of proper QA testing, the ps4 version people seem happier.
