actually used something like this for texture generation in panic room back in the day. - i wonder how discomforting it must feel to play a game with an ever changing map, no matter where you go. :-D

spike: that missing geometry bug in excess demos is a dx9 driver issue, several fairlight demos have buggy aliasing since that driver update as well and probably other dx9 demos have issues too -
