It's a show of athletic feats designed specifically to entertain and not to compete. Also, it's a story, often with a good guy that you instinctively want to see win. It's not for everyone, I for one love it though :) -
Also, any fighting sport that involves promotion is bound to be "fake"/"unfair"/"only for the show" at the very least to some degree, that doesn't just apply to wrasslin' but also to boxing, muay thai, MMA, etc etc -

I think i finally realized my personal problem i couldn´t pinpoint my whole life! The more i heard about them people talking about their problems in life, the more i realized it: i had the same problems,but luckily in smaller amounts, so my self.diagnostic() equals "Asperger Light"! 𝕵𝖔𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖓! - Asperger wäre definitiv eine interessante Biermarke. Ob man damit durchkommt?
