You should host this project somewhere online.
Works for me with the python3 server mode.
Anyway, I didn't expect a vibe coded demo from TPOLM, but ... why not.
I'm somewhere in between the thump up and the piggy.
Let's stick to piggy.

Just reading the readme-assembly.txt and vibe coding a demotool seems okay to me, considering the result. I'm open for a debate on this question.

Chill and relax. It has some nice parts (like that one with floating hearts).

a social commentary on AI mixing facts? After all, I only started making music in 1999 and not as "kaneel" (and I'm pretty sure there has been no lazy sunday event in the desert of Gobi)

Is this nostalgia? A replay-style modern-look demo.
Is this ironic? the end of an era, made using the destroyer of the era.

It's not bad looking but… it could have been made by us all and it would have been better.
Technically, it is not impressive at all (especially since code was mostly AI written). But thumb up for nice composition, post effects and smooth flow.

Lol fuck AI.

Added online link!

Quick note on AI use here - this is done on my own editor, which (in my opinion) retains all the creative control to the user. So while AI was used to create the editor and it wrote shader templates, all the edit, layering, flow, key framing, text writing, music synch etc was done by hand (or brain). Previously I used Notch for my demos, so the actual process is very similar here. Except now I have my own web based Notch.

Beautiful MPC style beatmaker music, wow! Fits the visuals perfectly.

nice track, saving the color matched but still shadertoy-ripoff-esque visuals from a thumb down.

comparing "your" editor to notch is... bold to say the least.

Soooooo much AI... I hate that it's kinda great, I do really like the end result. There was obviously artistic direction and intent....

Really like the calmness of it.

i like it!
not trying to troll, just interested: can you actually NOT edit/view the shader code at all in the tool, only prompt?
rulez added on the 2026-08-07 07:06:31 by pandur pandur
@pandur you can view and edit the shader code in the new version of the tool (still unreleased though). Also the system creates sliders out of the parameters, so they become easily keyframeable.

More effort and better end result than the pc demo compo winner. Good job, Fthr (and Radix)!

Count me out you fucks
There is a strong group of angry neo-luddites here supported by community leads who don't tolerate plurality of views. But guess what, more and more demos will use AI underneath if it gives good results. This demo is a prime example of it. But if you keep behaving like you do, people will just stop disclosing it.

There is a feeble group of redpilled “libertarian” incels with poor understanding of the modern world that hallucinate some oppressing “scene elites” which are “too woke” for their taste, so they hysterically upvote anything AI because in their weird minds this behaviour somehow represents some even dumber version of “sticking it to the libs” than the wider rightwing behaviour. What I wrote has nothing to do with this prod, and I’m sorry for that, but the paranoid blabber of the useful idiot above had to be addressed.

Except those who upvote respect the author, don't throw tantrums, don't use n-words, f-words, etc... 4gentE, just don't watch if you don't like it, simple as that.

Yeah it's not like you're antagonizing everyone who dislikes the usage of AI in the scene by your use of derogatory language and overall arrogant tone. 🙄
added on the 2026-08-08 15:15:28 by LJ LJ
You antagonize yourself. Just read those comments ;)

no worries folks ... we'll keep pushing forward. the anti AI agenda reminds me of getting bullied in high school back in '93 for using computers. and electronic music is not real music etc etc. we've seen it all. I think some of these comments will look very funny in the future.
