absolutely LOVE the creative way scrollers were utilized in here :)
Trains make the best scrollers, ever.
very cute graphics, lovely logos. a good showcase why the c64 is still relevant.
Great concept and execution!
thx guyz! Glad you like this type of shit!
the cat is really the best PET ever ... its been around for a while now
the rest of the graffiti aint bad either :) is that all pure petscii or modified tiles ?

actually my favourite from the compo
of course thats 100% petscii.
of course thats 100% petscii.
Parts of the buildings left/right of the train are created using sprites but those are mimicking PETSCII chars/limitations too. The rest of the screen and all of the wagons are pure PETSCII. The Tags screen at the end is using two custom charsets plus sprites for the dripping.
PS: same setup for the hidden BONUS section.

Easy compo fav, this oozes style and I found its 90s-00s vibe very comforting.
awesome style, awesome logos!
Not a fan of C64 and PETSCII, but this was done with style. Well done.
