This is a learning demo bassed on a Konami game, we whould like to make some original games for Amiga computers. Then, we are learning to code and make graphics for it. This demo is the result of some mouths of work and investigation. Demo coded on ASM.
Encouragement thumb up!!!

Yep, good luck guys!

Nice stuff, good luck. How about coding it for Atari ST first, and then a quick port to Amiga? ;) I heard that that was the "industry best practice" back in the day!

Btw, running it took quite some work. I'd rather take a normal LHA archive. ADF files are not a very convenient way to get a program running on an Amiga.

FWIW, it made a guru on my A1200+030/50 when looping/starting over.

Would've been nice if the spaceship didn't fly through half the landscape (at least it did so when I ran it under UAE). Otherwise, you quite nailed the feel you were going for. Thumbs up for that, the nice music, and for making your first (?) demo :)

Faithful emulation of 8-bit on a retro platform... but hmm without the MSX chug-chug scrolling the retro-retro feeling is completely lost!! :P

Don't know what yzi is on about. If it says OCS, you run it on an OCS machine, and distributing demos as disks is still okay last I checked...

Demo? Nah. And you need to show something while loading, but that's just you returning to dos with all colors set to black I think ;)

There's not a game there either (yet), but I wouldn't mind some Konami style games on Amiga so keep having fun :)

Well yeah, the end result game is going to be a disk, so a disk image fits that picture. But I'd still rather take an LHA archive, you may have a different preference.
And I don't think the guru is there like some deliberately placed feature, taking advantage of some trick that doesn't work on an A1200/030.

Motivational thumb here. I think you have a long way to go there, but the start is made :)

yzi: adf is fine to me, just drag and drop on WinUAE is the most convenient way it can be (at least for me ;) )

Cool! Nice graphics & music. Keep up the good work. It could be a great game once finished.
You have my motivational-thumb-up but still there is a lot to be done. :]

TRiACE: I think my point was, I hope these are not made for just the emulator scene.

It's a no brain to use it on a real Amiga 500.

You can find the MOD archive with Salamander music inside the ADF file, but you can make some new chip musics using this instruments from this other module http://eab.abime.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=43195&d=1423645611. Inside, you will find, leads, dual leads, chords, bass and drums.
Not cool.

I kind of like it. If you can pull some quality msx style game on the Amiga off, then definitely props and kudos to you! Keep up the good work and don't let yourself discourage by some random comments. Keep going!

Weak OK early demo of the game.
Too bad the game never was (this would deserve a thumb down).
Abandoned project?
